Boots the Dog is there to serve. Boots has always been protective of Farmer Joe, he saved Joe one time from a wild grizzly while on a hunting trip. But it is said that Boots may be a little too protective, he won't let anyone come near the Farmer, sometimes not even his lovely wife. Some say that this obsession borders on the edges of insanity and all it will take is one instance for the Dog to slip over the edge.
